September Update
After all the rushing about getting organised and attending the summer shows where sales were amazing, September has been a little quieter, giving me the chance to think about ordering stock for Christmas and actioning some of my new ideas. On my webiste you will see new gift items appearing over the next few months. These are either items I have designed myself, or things I have seen at trade shows with a fun bird theme and couldn’t resist! Alex Clark items are always popular and one of her tea towels is on the site already. At the shows I attend I will have a lot more to show you. I hope you like them, and this is something which will definitely be growing.
Of course the jewellery is my main passion. Do please look at the silver nest with moonstone eggs. I love this, and when wearing it as a necklace it looks stunning. Peacocks are in the pipeline, and will be at the Poultry Club of Great Britain’s National Poultry Show in November where I will have a stand. During November I shall also be attending the Carrdus School Christmas Fair at Overthorpe, near Banbury.
I had a wonderful holiday in Normandy and the Loire Valley in September. I think one of our fellow B & B guests at Les Peupliers (incidentally a wonderful place to stay) was somewhat surprised when I virtually pounced on her brightly coloured parrot bead necklace – definitely something to think about.
Nearer to home the Northampton and District Poultry Club have their Autumn Show on October 30th at Bugbrooke. If I can, I will have a few items there, but if anyone wants to see something in particular I can bring anything with me.
As far as my own chickens are concerned. The Scots Dumpies are growing well and I am looking forward to seeing everyone when the winter showing season begins.
Christmas isn’t far away, so do please look at my Shop and see if anything takes your fancy. For ladies – go on spoil yourself and you blokes – well problem solved at the click of a button.
