A busy month once again planning my Open Days at home on 4th/5th November, and getting stock ready for all the other events. A big one to add is the news that I will be attending the Christmas Event run by the National Trust at Stowe. Peck & Feather will be there on 28/29/30 November and again on 5/6 December. This is a new venture for Stowe to be held in the New Inn Visitor Centre in the old Parlour Rooms. Each day from 14th November to 23rd December different craft stalls will be in the New Inn selling items. I am very much looking forward to the days I am spending there. All details can be found by clicking here.
My own birds are getting ready to go to the National Poultry Show held at Telford International Centre on November 19th/20th, and the Federation Show on 17th/18th December at Stafford. I will have my Peck and Feather stand at both these shows. How I am going to get all my stock as well as the birds in my little car I don’t know, but I expect I will manage one way or another.
As I write this we have an an extraordinary mild spell of weather. The clocks have changed and the evenings are drawing in and frost is forecast for later this week. Time for you all to be thinking about buying your Christmas presents – look no further! It’s going to be a very busy time for Peck & Feather, and it seems amazing that my little business has now been going for just over a year. One day I had this crazy idea that it might be nice to find some chicken jewellery – well I did it. Here’s to the next twelve months!
